“The right tool for the right job” is a trusim that works. One of our goals at Home School Lifetime Learning  is to share with our visitors the various Internet based tools and sites we have found to be very useful and make our daily lives easier and more productive.

Free Resources

This program is an outstanding system that comes very close to being an absolute clone of Microsoft Office. We have used it extensively and find it meets our needs with excellence.

We use this fine program for recording and editing audio files that can then be integrated into other presentation programs. It is easily installed and is simple to learn to use.

Screencasting is an effective method of creating instructional or presentation videos. The quality and flexibility of this program makes it an excellent addition to your Internet toolbox.

This little gem of an animated video producer is easy to use and fun to watch the results. Lots of flexibility and creativity put in a simple to use package.

If you are looking for a simple, yet high quality graphic design program, Canva is for you. An excellent resource for creating flyers, infographics and logos.

When you want to find the most efficient method to publish a short informational or promotional article, try out this excellent resource.

Using a photo that is copyrighted is something you should always avoid, especially if you are going to post it anywhere, either online or not. This site gives you a great source of totally free photos to use.

If you are serious about building a website or creating your own blog, this is the top-of-the-line FREE website building system. WordPress works especially well with Elementor, an addon which further simplifies the page-building process.

Photoshop is the standard graphics program… but it is expensive! Paint.net comes really close to the performance of Photoshop. We use Paint.net almost exclusively in any graphics needed for out sites or books.
